Pres. Cory Aquino Photo Exhibit

Just got home from a tiring NBI clearance renewal, whew, It's really a long day, you will need to stay in line for hours just to get your clearance renewed. Good thing I have my cellphone with me, I get to listen to radio while waiting in line.

After about an hour or so falling in line, I was able to get my clearance renewed! It was at the Megamall where I had the clearance renewed, after taking a quick snack, I walked in the mall to look for something that will interest me, my original plan was to hear a mass, but some reason there wasn't any, and I did see something! There was an Exhibit Dedicated for the Great Pres. Corazon "Cory" Aquino. It is a very interesting and informative photo exhibit, there are many things about Pres. Aquino that was showcased, most of which are things that you don't really see quite often. There were pictures about state visits, letters to and from Pres. Aquino, pictures of the Aquino family, and a wall that you can dedicate and send messages. I was able to take some pictures. You can still go and see the exhibit it is still on-going.

Spiderman sketch Nightwing and Huntress Sketch Ichigo Sketch This one's my Original character "Shooter" I did most of these sketches at the office when we have high avail time(meaning, there are no calls on que). What I do is bring a piece of coupon bond, divide it into 4 equal parts and do the sketches. I draw anything under the sun, most of the time I do Fan arts of superheroes and animes. My original creation MLU was also done this way as well as the thumbnails for my Baboy original comics. Using ballpen as a sketching pen s not easy, specially if you're not used to it but once you got the hang of it, it's not as hard as it looks. So how does it go when you make a mistake? For me, you just have to continue skecthing, some minor errors can be remidied, but some mistakes need to be redone. ‎100 ARAW NG KOMIKS (Day 20) KAGUBATAN (2004) Ito ang pangalawa kong entry para sa CCCom (Culture Crash Comic) 8 page comics feature. Nauna ang "Payt 4 Lab"(2003). Sayang at hinde napili ang comics ko pero oks lang, achievement pa rin sa 'kin dahil nakatapos ako ng isa ang 8 page short comics. Mabigat ang impluwensya sakin ng anime da ti, hnd ako masyadong exposed sa western comics kaya siguro. Nito na lang ako nakakapag-basa madalas ng mga western comics. Kaya ito ang naging kinalabasan ng artwork. 17 yrs old pa lang ako nung panahong ginawa kong Kagubatan, tungkol ito sa istorya ng isang prinsepeng inatasang magpunta sa kagubatan para sa isang misyon, Kung gusto nyong mabasa ang kabuuan ng komiks, abangan nyo na lamang sa susunod na komikon sa Nobiyembre, kung saan balak kong ilabas ang aking mga short komiks. Sa panahong ito ay ginagawa ko ang book 3 ng mukat komiks ko, kaya mas maayos ang art kumpara sa Payt 4 lab. Nakakatuwang balikan ang mga dati kong ginawang komik

Glasshousegraphics Comics creation Seminar

My dream jobs are to be an animator or a comicbook artist! Ever since I was just a kid, I'm always fascinated to superheroes and moving pictures. My dream is still burning in me that's why I always practice drawing as much as possible even though I'm already working. I'm most happy when I was able to work in the Big City (NCR), in my opinion, all the event and all of my dream jobs are here, meaning I'm closer... I've always known of the glasshousegraphics comics creation seminar, unfortunately I'm still in the province so I dont have the financial capability to go and join the seminar, but now that I'm working already, there's no way i would miss this seminar. The Seminar is a 2-day event at the CLSB in Taft Ave. Manila from Jan 30-31, 2010. I was able to meet there my good friend Randy Valiente and Jaime also an equally good artist.
