THE ART OF MEL CASIPIT

the 7th National Scale Model Competition was held at the Megamall from Nov 16-22, 2009. I just past by before going to church to hear a mass. Plenty of scale models were displayed, I was amazed at the detail and the number of scale models on display! It really was amazing! I took some pictures of those models you check them out below. I wish I can have one too, but I dont have the space and the money to have one yet. no, this is not a scale model. This is me!

baboy the Boy Illustration This boy is the main character in my first Indie Comics this is the transformed version of the boy above this on is has nothing to do with the drawings above. This is Shaider the Space Sherif, one of my childhood hero.

the Fisherman Nanay Tatay Gusto kong Tinapay Those 2 above are my paintings the one on top is an oil painting and the one below that is acrylic. I was introduced to painting by my college Prof. Robert "pars " G. Sison in PSU Pangasinan State University Lingayen Campus.

Well its been a while since I last updated my blog, been busy these past few days or maybe I'm just lazy. The drawing above is my fan art for Twilight saga: New Moon. My girlfriend really likes this series so much so I guest I have to love it too. :) Just got from a mass earlier, today, Nov 1 is the "All Saints Day" and tomorrow is the "All Souls Day" I was not able to go back to Pangasinan though. I'm looking forward for to see the new Astro Boy movie! :) I'm also a fan of that boy. I was supposed to be seeing it with Lulu but I screwed it up. Well, I hope we can see the movie before its not showing in theaters anymore. Happy Halloween! :)
