the 7th National Scale Model Competition was held at the Megamall from Nov 16-22, 2009. I just past by before going to church to hear a mass. Plenty of scale models were displayed, I was amazed at the detail and the number of scale models on display! It really was amazing! I took some pictures of those models you check them out below. I wish I can have one too, but I dont have the space and the money to have one yet. no, this is not a scale model. This is me!

baboy the Boy Illustration This boy is the main character in my first Indie Comics this is the transformed version of the boy above this on is has nothing to do with the drawings above. This is Shaider the Space Sherif, one of my childhood hero.

Well its been a while since I last updated my blog, been busy these past few days or maybe I'm just lazy. The drawing above is my fan art for Twilight saga: New Moon. My girlfriend really likes this series so much so I guest I have to love it too. :) Just got from a mass earlier, today, Nov 1 is the "All Saints Day" and tomorrow is the "All Souls Day" I was not able to go back to Pangasinan though. I'm looking forward for to see the new Astro Boy movie! :) I'm also a fan of that boy. I was supposed to be seeing it with Lulu but I screwed it up. Well, I hope we can see the movie before its not showing in theaters anymore. Happy Halloween! :)

Spiderman sketch Nightwing and Huntress Sketch Ichigo Sketch This one's my Original character "Shooter" I did most of these sketches at the office when we have high avail time(meaning, there are no calls on que). What I do is bring a piece of coupon bond, divide it into 4 equal parts and do the sketches. I draw anything under the sun, most of the time I do Fan arts of superheroes and animes. My original creation MLU was also done this way as well as the thumbnails for my Baboy original comics. Using ballpen as a sketching pen s not easy, specially if you're not used to it but once you got the hang of it, it's not as hard as it looks. So how does it go when you make a mistake? For me, you just have to continue skecthing, some minor errors can be remidied, but some mistakes need to be redone. The Winning Comics: MLU MLU is my newest comics entry for the 5th Komikon Comics Creation Contest. I was able to get the Best Entry award for the 3rd Consecutive time. Baboy won last Komikon Nov 2008 and second time is for Dogstyle last May 2009 at the Komikon Summer Fiesta. I am very happy that many have appreciated my comics, I'm doing this Blog to share why I did and how I did MLU : 1. First I will write the story, usually, for my comics since it's only a few pages I just think what the story is about. 2. Then I do the thumbnails, in this stage I decide how the panels are layed out on each page and how many pages will my comics be. 3. Next is pencilling, I just follow what I draw on the thumbnails stage so thumbnails are critical you need to put all the important details on it so when its pencillixng time you will not waste time thinking what to draw. 4. And lastly the inking stage, this stage usally takes time, specially if you want to put as much detail on comics as you ...

POST-KOMIKON EXPERIENCE Oct 19, 2009 Yes I now its a bit late but its better later than later :) What a really great day that was! The recently concluded Komikon 2009 at the Megamall, Megatrade Hall 1, yesterday Oct 18. I really enjoyed the event even though I was not able to go around that much, I still get to make sure that I get the things that only at such event that I can get in just one round.:) After my work shift from 12:30am - 9:30am(graveyard shift)I head directly to the Megamall just a few blocks from office at Shaw Blvd. I was with my friend Roel who assisted me in gettting my things in order and stayed at my table when I need to go arround to buy some things. We stayed there until around 7:30pm. A bit later after the they Awarded to my newest Indie Comics " MLU ", Best Comics Creation for the Theme: "Sa Kaibuturan ng Aking Puso".
