THE ART OF MEL CASIPIT

I had been contacted by my long FB friend to do a chef commission. I was hesitant at first as the Komikon 2012 is fast approaching, but I accepted it anyway. I really missed drawing caricatures its been a while since I last drew one. I was happy with the result as well the person who did the commission. I hope the persons I made the caricature for also loved their caricature. Looking forward for more caricatures in the future. These caricatures where done in the month of October of 2012.

A request from komikon organizers to do a caricature for Freely Abrigo, Heubert Khan Micheal and Elmer Damaso, who am I to say no! :D These artist are my Idols, they are really at their best in what they do. I made the caricature just before I went to Summer Komikon 2012 last saturday, May 26, It was a really fun event! Thanks to all of those who drop by Neverheard Webcomics table and bought our Komiks, see you all next time! :D 

Meet my Brother Lou-mel. This is an experimental caricarture done digitally. First I scanned a rough pencil sketch and then inked and coolored using PS CS2. What do you think? :D

It's been a while since I last posted my caricature, been so busy with so many thing, there's the 24 hr comics challenge, work and some stuff plus the never-ending caricature request. Speaking of caricatures here are the latest caricature I recently finished. Feel free to comment and enjoy! :) this family caricature was commissioned to me by Ago a friend of mind back in PSU. I think this will be a gift. This is TL Nami Palamos, it was her birthday so her team contacted me to create the caricature as a birthday gift. This is my ever so beautiful Team Mananger Lizette Penaranda. August 1st is her birthday and this caricature is going to be our birthday gift for her. :) I hope she likes it.

This past few days I've been drawing caricatures for my friends and friends of my friends. They seem to like it so I guess I'm doing a great job! :)

I just resigned from my previous callcenter work, It's been over 3 years and find It really sad when I think about leaving. Leaving in not always a bad thing, when you go you sometimes find new opportunities and new acquaintances. Just before and after I resigned I did a few caricatures for my friends. Hope you like them as much as I did. this is my latest ballpenart. Done while I'm in training at North Edsa. Done using a ballpen I think I borrowed from a friend. :) By February I'm going to start for another call center Job at makati. Goodluck to me! :D
