Daredevil Fan Art: A Dive Back Into Traditional Media Check out this Daredevil fan art I recently created! As someone who mostly works digitally these days, it was refreshing and exciting to return to my traditional art materials. For this piece, I experimented with a new art style, using pens and markers to bring the character to life. It was a great opportunity to explore different textures and line work, and I enjoyed the hands-on process of traditional art again. From August 2nd to 6th, my colleague Freely Abrigo and I were thrilled to be part of Gamefest 2023 at Glorietta 2 Activity Center. We spent these days creating wonderful caricatures for the event attendees. Drawing for four hours daily was a new experience for us, and we were excited to connect with so many people. Witnessing the happiness on their faces as they received their custom cartoon portraits was truly heartwarming. On average, we managed to complete around 40 portraits each day, maybe even more. We used traditional tools – just pen, paper, and ink – and it was amazing to see how art can bring joy. One of the highlights was when we were asked to create caricatures of the FIFA Women's World Cup Philippine team and CBM of Glorietta. We extend our gratitude to Erwin Nieto for the referral, Bluespark for their incredible support, and Glorietta management for making this event possible and enjoyable. We're excited for more collaborative opportunities in the future!

Nagpunta sa Pilipinas si Mr. Edwin "Wincat" Alcala Assistant Director ng Family Guy upang magbahagi ng kaalaman sa animation. Ang talk ay naganap sa Informatics College, Rm 2G sa Eastwood campus, Hulyo 6, 2013, hatid ng ACPI o Animation Council of the Philippines.  Simula nung bata pa lang ako pangarap ko ng maging animator. Simula noong makapanood ako ng mga cartoons sa TV ay nahumaling na ako agad. Nahilig ako sa panonood ng cartoons at magbasa ng komiks. Kahit nung ako'y naging teenager at ngayon na professional na di pa rin natanggal ang pagkagusto ko sa animation, dream job ko talaga yun. Nabalitaan ko kay Kai Castillo noong nilink nya sakin ang tungkol sa talk ni Mr. Wincat Alcala sa Eastwood, na sinundan ng paglink sakin ulit nila Randy Valiente at Tepai Pascual, kapwa mga kakomiks ko.
